Wednesday, March 3, will be a Walk to School Wednesday. The Olive Chapel Student Council will meet on Wednesday, March 3, from 8:10 to 8:45 am.
The Running Mates Marathon for students on Tracks 1 and 3, will be held on Thursday, March 4, at 2:30 PM. Students and parents will participate in the last 1.2 mile walk/run of a 25 mile marathon. The Running Mates Marathon for students on Tracks 2 and 4, will take place on Tuesday, March 9.
Friday, March 5, will be a spirit day sponsored by the Olive Chapel Student Council. Report cards will go home for students on Track 1, in grades 1 – 5, on that day.
Wednesday, March 10, will be an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 PM, to allow staff to attend professional development training.
Chick-fil-A Night for students on Tracks 3 and 4, will be held on Thursday, March 11, from 5-8 PM, at the restaurant at Beaver Creek in Apex.
Olive Chapel will sponsor a Blood Drive on Thursday, March 18, from 9:30 to 1:30 PM. Call the school if you are interested in donating.
Mark your calendar for the 2010 Olive Chapel Artapalooza. It will be held on Saturday, April 24, from 5 to 8 PM. Student artwork will be the focal point of the event, which includes gift basket raffles, inflatables, the Scrap Exchange, food and lots of fun for the whole family.
