Book Fair Volunteers Needed

Posted by pcaggia on October 26, 2009

Did you know that 100% of our budget for new library books comes from book fairs? As always, we rely on volunteers to make our book fair a success. We could never do it without you! If you have an hour (or even half-an-hour) to spare, we could use you!

If you think you might be able to help, please use this link to sign up for a slot. We have included the dates and times that individual classes are visiting the book fair if you want to help when your child visits.

Thanks for all you do every day to make OCE the best.

Vaccination Update

Posted by pcaggia on October 2, 2009

A message from our school nurse:

As many of you are taking your children for their yearly flu vaccination please keep in mind that all 5th graders are required to have a tetanus booster before entering 6th grade. This would be a good time to ask your child’s doctor to administer this vaccine. Please bring a copy of the shot record with proof of the vaccine to Olive Chapel to keep on file. Thank you for your attention to this important requirement.
